Our 2014 convention was a huge success, and some members commented that it was the “best GAL Convention ever!” About 435 luthiers and their friends registered to attend five days of lutherie fun and learning including lectures and workshops; exhibition of members instruments and lutherie supplies for sale; the “Venerables” exhibit of old, odd, and remarkable instruments; concerts; impromptu talks and musical presentations; off-campus open mikes; our benefit auction; and the GALHQ open house.
