I was repairing loose bracing on an Applause guitar and could not get the clamp and my hand in at the same time to align the clamp with the brace due to little clearance where the bowl back meets the top. I inserted a LED light to find the end of the brace, marked the outline with tape and applied the glue and the clamp. It lined up on the first try.
